  • Sorry... don't know of any dealers but that is one mighty fine looking Antietam you have there. I just started another thread on Commem's and would welcome any expertise that you have.

If you are closer to Southern California, I would recommend Mark Feld (San Diego). If you are in the Pac Northwest, Pinnacle (Tacoma, WA) always carries a large selection.

I would agree with the others. I have purchased vanishingly few coins in person and none of my favorites.

Yes, there is a pretty good commemorative dealer here on the west coast. Guy by the name of Joe Weber, Commems Inc. He's in Coupeville, WA.

I would also recommend Joe Weber of Commems Inc., I've done several deals with him, both buying and selling. He has a good eye for quality commems. He will setup at the upcoming Santa Clara Show, March 30 - April 1.

Strat...we missed you in San Jose and Long Beach. Are you coming to Santa Clara?

Pinnacle Rarities carries a large selection of Classic Commemoratives.

Joe Weber sets up at some of the Pacific NW shows. I wish I could provide you with contact information. He usually has more nice PCGS/NGC Classic Commems than everyone else combined at area coin shows. He does not deal in below average coins.

    Joe is a great guy.

I have his phone number, but I didn't feel comfortable posting it since I don't know if it's business or home.

I met Joe at the Portland coin show a while back. He had a very nice selection, and was refreshingly candid in giving opinions.

Joe should probably be set up at the next Santa Clara show.

  • The goto guys for Comms with great toning are Larry Shepard, Mike DeFalco and Dave Schwieze - in no particular order - They KNOW comms - a collector who knows Comms is Greg Bingham (MonsterMan on the Boards) and he sometimes sells his dups to buy - well Monster Comms -Of course Anthony Swiatek knows a bit also! All I know about Comms is that the nice ones are very expensive! image
