I collect Roosies in 66 or better (mostly 66), but really like this coin. All I want to do is make it to the first page (top 20) in the Registry. The biggest holdback for me is the postage is half what the coin is worth.

What do think of it.
It's not the numbers.... it's the postage on a $10 coin is 5.50!

I like the coin. The 10 bucks postage is horse dung. Email the guy and tell him to pound sand or lower the postage. 4 bucks max could get the coin to you with insurance. Maybe his tires are worn out and he needs money quickly for them.
Ken
The postage is 5.50 not 10. Ten dollars is the value of the coin in 65.
I think I will try to get him to lower the postage. I think most of them charge more than the cost of postage just so they can make a few extra bucks.

Can't really argue with the postage if the seller is charging it for Priority Mail + Delivery Confirmation as rates went UP back in January.

The 10 buck coin does not warrant Priority Mail at all. $3.50 to $4.00 is the most it would cost to ship the coin and that would cover time used , gas, tire wear, shoe sole wear and even a Coke Cola to replinish the energy used walking to your car and back and forth into the Post Office.
Of course if you want the coin $5.50 is not all that bad...

I got a VG-8 Walker (for my grading set) the same way coin cost like $7.50 and the guy charged me $5.00 for shipping.

I'm in 21st place now just a couple of points from making the 1st page.
