    I don't get it. Obviously the bidder doesn't care for the coin, so why bid on it and possibly get into legal trouble. Could you enlighten me on why it is a scam?

    how can someone get into legal trouble by bidding on a coin?

    those photos are stolen from somewhere and the account is hijacked.

    NO ONE is going to sell anyone a (near) 20K coin for 2,500.00 USD.
