I recently posted a raw scarcheek (which later went PCGS AU-58) here and thought it was a very late die state..... Like I said, it took me 4 years to find just one of them and was happy with the results..... until I saw THIS coin which I just had to have.... this one has 2 breaks in the hair.....

Here's the die break on the AU-58... The 2nd die break as I mentioned above is not above the large break but actually separate from it to the East of the large break...

Very nice coin...and you're right about it being elusive.....Where is the second break? Is it on the same break line, just higher?

Look at the slab real close... (answer posted after the pic below) Here's a closeup of the die break in the hair. Note the 2nd break again east of the large one down towards the bottom...

Wish me luck on the cross, it's in a SEGS MS-63 holder.....

I dont know who owns the current 63 on the pops....

I'll have to make a trip to the bank and look at mine again...I know it has the break in the hair, but I never looked at it that close. Looks like you have a good shot at crossing from the pics.
