I want to put together a reference set of counterfeit trade dollars. I plan to publish a photographic guide to these coins and need examples to photograph. I will pay between $10-$50 per coin depending on the individual coin. Please PM me and let me know what you have.

I have - got 15 on the way from Australia - cheap too. Trying to convince a dealer in China to sell some of his cheap. He keeps insisting his are real, but he knows someone that could get all I wanted. ha, ha.

ttt means to the top if you want to bring the thread up and this is all since they get to the back on the line really fast and as they say in advertising there is nothing like being on the front page

I seem to be able to buy more than I need in the range of $7-$35. $35 is the most I've paid so far. If I came across an extremely unusual fake say a proof or proof like I might go more than 50, but for now at least my collection is building fast and the average cost is around $14/coin.

P.S. I just paid $79 for 18 fakes. It remains to be seen if I got ripped off or not - they are coming from China.
