I don't find it all that eye-appealing and wouldn't buy it, but think it's probably NT. But then again who the hell knows anymore? I would say that it's market acceptable.

My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.
MS62, no FBL due to "hit". few distractions on face and field on the obverse. Natural toning.
oh wait, it's an NGC holder ?
MS64 and still no FULL BELL LINES while I am not too crazy about toning, it still looks natural to me. I would think exposure to some natural oils from touching in conjunction with long term album storage likely causes this.
The coin is from our favorite eBay shake and baker, gototoningcoins, formerly tonecoin2003, formerly easyman168, formerly something else. I bought it raw from him a couple years ago and sent it off to PCI to see what they'd do with it.
<< <i>I'll bet the coin smells like it came from a sulfer bath- like rotten eggs. >>
His coins actually don't smell, so either he's allowing them to cure before listing them on eBay or he's using something other than sulfur. All that I've seen do have one telltale characteristic, though; a thin translucent film on the surfaces.

I bought one of his coins two months ago to see for myself. Found the same thing. The color is filmy and floaty.
Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

Roughly 25% "MA" 75% "QT"?
moderate premium for "cool colors"?
a fun coin for $20 or $40,
would be absurd at a much higher "retail" price imo
edit: who's it certified by?

my Franklins never tone in such a manner.... Toning pattern is inconsistent with album toning...
my vote is AT on that eyesore....

Not at all.
I do not like the color at all. From the picture it looks AT to me. Even if it is real its ugly.

This isnt album toning on a Franklin, it isn't remotely even close.

Buy a round of beer.
The darker sopts on the front and overall pattern on the reverse suggest this is not NT.

i think the coin looks nice, not my cup of tea, but I took
a few looks at it, and that is more then most coins get.

Nope, ACG has clear plastic. The plastic of this holder is white.

a prayer should be said to appease the posse, and the coin and the testicles should never be mentioned again.

Not necessarily, it could be in an ANACS net grade holder.
