Coins back from NGC - slab grades thread

Received a submission back from NGC today. Coins were mailed out last Friday so very quick delivery by th USPS. Took a beating on this submission:

Italy-Venice Grosso (c. 1350) BB Clipped Planchet - give me a break, the coin is 650 years old.
Canada 1909 5c BB Cleaned. Ouch! Not cleaned IMO
Canada Nova Scotia 1864 1c BB Cleaned. OK, I agree. It was a long shot.

Hungary 1557B Denar AU55
Australia 1943I 1d MS64 BN These Aussie bronze coins are getting tougher to find in MS
Canada 1939 1c MS66 RD image

and finally:
Netherlands 1879 10G (gold coin) MS67 image

So, I guess you can say a mixed submission.

The Netherlands gold coin has a dead king pedigree. It is now in Mrs. ajaan's gold collection.

A 66RD for that Canadian cent? Maybe it's time to submit that freebie that you gave me, I have a reputation for great grades from freebies. image

Superb Dutch gold, is Mrs ajaan keeping both?

Don submitted two coins of mine too, one was BBed for reverse cleaning (a Grk 1879-A 1 lepton) ,the other one ,a George V half rupee got an MS65:

My fault. There is only one gold Dutch coin. The image x 2 meant two grins, not two coins. image Yes, it is already in Kely's collection.

I was probably most disappointed in the Italy-Venice coin. I thought it should have slabbed.

Worth resubmitting to ICG perhaps? I know I'll do it for a few items.
