1996-P Kennedy half dollar- Double Die or Machine doubling- Need help!

The only doubling is on the reverse. Only on HALF DOLLAR. Some letters of AMERICA. The other words don't have any doubling. So what do you guys think it is? Thanks.

    That looks like machine doubling to me.

    Thanks for the fast replies.

    I thought machine doubling would show up on all the letters. On this coin some letters are doubled and some aren't. This is what I'm confused about.

    Strike doubling can show up almost anywhere and even skip letters. The presses and
    dies pick up various vibrations which can be out of phase with the cycling of the press
    so even consecutive coins will often have very different doubling.

    There apparently various causes of machine doubling and some are repeatable, however.
