96-97 Chrome Bryant RC in PSA 9: SELL or HOLD?

Hi there,

I've got 2 of these cards right now and PSA 9 copies have been selling for $175 on eBay over the past few weeks. My question is, do you think that I should keep these cards, or is now a good time to sell?

I know nothing about the historical price of this card over the past 10 years. Can anyone help out? For what it's worth, I hate Kobe Bryant and would like to get rid of them, but for a good price.

I've got $125 in each of them.

If you want to turn a profit, I would sell now. They were going as high as $300 when he was winning championships. I do not see them going up in value much after this season.

Sell now, he will not be able to keep this pace through the 2nd half and the Lakers will fail to make the playoffs. Now is a good time to sell IMO.

What's your time frame? If you don't need to sell them this year, I would wait until next year. Kobe is only 27 and is entering his prime. I could see him going for 100 this year if the Lakers are out of the playoffs late in the season.

$175 is too low for a card with this potential, I would wait until it gets to the $250 level before selling.
