Can anybody tell me if there's any significance to the last three digits (the ones after the dash) in NGC's slab numbering system?

The first number is the submission number and then the next three digits is the coin number on the submission. At least, thats what I think it is.

coin number in the submission [ie: if more than one coin submitted on the same sheet, the last three designate which line of the submission that particular coin is]

The first part of the cert number is the cert (maybe submission #) and the last 3 are the number coin in that submission. So a -006 would be the 6th coin in that submission.
