GAI Crossover

Hello All,

Just curious as to how well GAI cards crossover. Is it worth trying to open the holder? Thanks.

I crossed over a GAI 8 1972 Clemente into a PSA 8. I tried to cross over a GAI 7.5 1962 Frank Robinson but it came back a seven. I think it is hard to get the half grades to be bumped up. I think the 8.5's are 8's though and if you buy and cross them over as such you can't go wrong.

I had a GAI 8.5 1963 Topps common come back a PSA 9, and had a GAI 8 common come back as trimmed on the same submission - so I'd say it's a crapshoot.

I bought a global 8 and had enough sense to crack it out and send it in raw, it came back an 8.
