eBay Search problems could produce bargains/poor results

Don’t know how many of you have noticed this, but since eBay revamped their search structure over a week ago to feature the Buy-It-Now offerings of eBay stores more prominently, people who rely on saved Favorite Searches to let them know that desirable items are on offer have received few if any updates. You’ve got to figure that people are going to miss out on auctions they would normally bid on; as a consequence there may well be bargains for some buyers and disappointing results for some sellers.

    I noticed my daily favorite search emails are few and far between as of late. I guess this is the reason. I almost missed a psa 10 for my 71 set tonight. If I didn't search manually on eBay I would have missed it. As for a bargain...I actually paid through the nose for it.

    eBay should look into what happened to the email notifications when they revamped their search structure.

    Yes all the "Buy It Now" listings now show in searches ............but you can still narrow down the "auction only " listings...........................I can live with this.....and am smart enough to figure it out....

    In addition, according to complaints posted on eBay message boards, the regular search facility isn’t working properly either. Buyers are having to press Refresh to get a full list of items available.

    Sounds like a brilliant solution to a non-problem.
