crossing over on SGC '74 Deckles

in PSA Set Registry Forum
Have about 23 SGC '74 Deckles that I want to cross over so I can add them to my PSA set. Most are SGC 7s and 8s. Question--send them in as is, or break them open as suggested in a different thread? Best way to break open an SGC holder? Many thanks--

    I would think that it would be better to break them open if you thought the cards would grade considerably higher and to send them as is if you think they will cross over without an upgrade.

    Do you have a Nolan Ryan in there? If so is the back gray or white?

    I do not have the Ryan...I have 44 PSA and another 23 that are SGC....so I am close. But Ryan does not come up very often(as you know I am sure) and when it has come up the time was not right for me(i.e., saw a few unopened packs I wanted more than the Ryan). Next one may be mine though.

    Looking for the following in PSA-8 or better if anyone can help me out--1-Amos Otis...5-Carlton... 11-Bobby Valentine... 25-Brooks Robby...
    41-Ryan... 54-Tony Perez... 57-Aaron... 60-Blomberg... 62-Oliva... 63-Murcer... 71-John Bench
