2006 Topps

I think this could be the first time in years I chase Topps. The base set looks unexciting, but with all the Mantle sets, the Wal-Mart exclusive sets, and the Rookie Of the Week program, it looks like they're really trying to reenergize interest in the base set. Anyone else going to build these sets? Anyone know how many cards in the Wal-mart set? The highest number I've seen so far is 53 on the Guerrero.

Rare Grady Sizemore parallels, printing plates, autographs

Up until 2 years ago, I did the set every year from packs.

They're cheap and offer great entertainment for the money.

I like the promotion but it just became a matter of economics in that Heritage eats up the budget.

Good luck if you do the set.

I just do the Factory sets for Topps Baseball now. I build the football from packs.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
