Next, let me actually describe the card without 87 lines of terms, conditions, Large Red Letters, and a total abscence of any punctuation. In addition, I have actually learned how to use my capslock key! Aren't you glad.

    followed by:

And now for a real treat! I have included a nice large scan of the front & back of the actual card that you will recieve.

He does know his grammar, but he apparently forgot the ol' "i before e except after c" rule. Plus, he did take about 87 lines to describe the card.

Dude must have been burnt by something recently, as this appears to be the only auction he's listed that has all of the "aspects he likes about himself as a seller", and it's his most recently listed item.

I know I have spent too much time on Ebay when I am at the grocery store cashing in my bottles so I can put gas in my truck.

    Well guys,

You know my position on ebay...

    Self imposed exile.

    See you in.....I don't know? A year?

And, BTW, it's still painful not to look at all those T3s for sale!!!!

  • It's too painful to look at the VISA bills, also!
  • can you post a picture of it at a 38.542 degree angle with the picture taken at 7:14 am MST, and can you take it standing on your right leg and doing the hokey pokey? If so, I AM VERY INTERESTED IN BIDDING!

(One of the best descriptions I have ever read...)
  • also, would this item be available for local pickup?

    Thanks in advance....

    Hey Mike,
Why the exile? Buying a home or doing something else more gratifying? My exile was not buying anything made from 1985 to present date.
Unless it was on my Carew Master Set. My only purchase of something new was the 1992 Black Leaf Gold complete set(528 cards) along with the 33 card Preview Set. It reminded me of the 71' Topps.

You may have missed a long discussion we had.

I think I made a self-deprecating thread on the 9.5 Step Program and stuff - I spent - out of control - last year way too much money and ran up the Amex charge account.

This is not fair to my wife since she was not told of all the purchases till she felt a "sucking wind" on our checking account.

I'll be back. Just a matter of time. Amex bill first tho.

    This is funny.

In all seriousness, the guy seems to be an honest seller. I am placing the 1983 Topps cards on WATCH. I rarely, rarely buy raw, but this guy seems to be a good person.
