Not that many! Went through a few. I could just sell them in 1/2 lb bags like everyone else and say they are unsearched but I don't have the time or the inkling to do that. I bought them with the intention of going through them but man 5000 pennies. That's to time consuming. Wish I wouldn't have bought them in the first place but now I just want to get rid of them. I thought I offered pretty fair deal, 2 cents a coin for wheat pennies.
Ok, Thanks for the tip on the postage. The problem is that it's different wherever you ship. $27 to La 15 to chicago. If anyone has any ideas how to ship 35lbs cheap please let me know. I didn't want to put a flat 27 dollars if someone close bought it but I guess I should.
It would be pretty close to that size. Is that through USPS? I used Ebay's calculater to figure shipping. The calculator uses USPS or UPS. I just entered 35lbs to come up with the numbers. Media is a lot cheaper but I don't think this would qualify as media. I wonder how some of these guys that sell a lot of coins can say flat rate for $5.oo unless they are eating the cost. I doubt if USPS gives then a discount because they ship so much. Thanks for your response I appreciate the input.
well you got a good starting price at 2Xface. shipping is a good price. but i do have a question. if i am not wrong there are 140 pennys to a pound. if you have 5000 that would give you 35.72 pounds not 30lbs. so as a bidder, I would look at it as you have search them and 5.72 pounds are gone. so you have cherry picked them and pulled the EF out and any key dates and maybe all the teens .
just pointing out a misstake in your weight. john

You are right. my mistake. I put 35 lbs in the top description but put 30 in the bottom. Typo. I would hate to change it because there is a bidder. Can you tell I'm new at this selling stuff?
