That's outrageous, no doubt. But by their nature, shouldn't checklists be "rarer" in top condition than any other card?

Who here among us would not like to get 10k for that card?

secondly and more importantly he has also provided a "best offer" way of getting this item. What has some in a frenzy is beyond me.
    Good for you.

    Mike,
I don't know if you saw the Metallica documentary, the but the drummer (Lars) sold his entire art collection for something like 10-12 million dollars. One painting went for 3 to 4 million alone. To each his own.

Don't really follow that set but here's PSA's pop report for the 1957 Twin Blony Checklist :

    PSA 5 - 2
    PSA 6 - 1
    PSA 7 - 1

So that is some rare card in that grade.

Marc --- Yes and no. Yes I heard on MTV and no, I didn't see any of his art on TV - I believe all of his stuff was modern which is hard for me to understand paying big bucks for this kind of stuff.

But, then again, they don't understand the mystique of the PSA 8 Honus?

To each his own I guess
