Up to this point of the season, who would you say is?

    1 Kobe Bryant
    2 Lebron James
    3 Steve Nash

    Shane

  • Steve Nash over Chauncey Billups by the slimmest of margins.

What Nash has done without Amare Stoudemire is amazing but I wonder if the voters will go with him 2 years in a row. Some may want to reward the team concept of Detroit and Billups has been the lynchpin of their team so far this year.

If Elton Brand can finish strong, then he can be a factor, but he would have to average 25 and 15 the rest of the year to be a strong candidate. He is very under rated because of where he plays, but I think he'll pick up an MVP Award in the next 2-3 years.

My top 5 at this moment.

    1. Steve Nash
    2. Chauncey Billups
    3. Elton Brand
    4. Dwayne Wade
    5. Dirk Nowitzki

No question Kobe Bryant. He is singlehandly carrying the team.
  • sheez, koby, where ya been? thought you died or something.

I would say it's pretty tight Lebron/Kobe/Nash. Tough not to want to say Billups, being a Piston fan, but with them its someone different almost every night. Hamilton is almost as deserving.
