Some experiments with "angled glass" photos

Well, I'm still trying to get well toned coins to show their true colors.
The pictures are not the greatest but the colors show well - a little washed out, I'm afraid - I guess I need more practice with lighting.

    WOW Shep, that Penny Black looks like a candidate for the "Better Color Through Chemistry Award". image I have some Sacageweas that look a lot like that image

  • I think you have done pretty darn good capturing the colors.

    Have you tried some light from overhead? Also I keep all the general area lights off and only have
    the lightining on for the coin.

    Experimentation for what works for you, but it's look'n good.... image
