1953 Farthing help

Hi I found this article on 1953 farthings
and looked at my 2 proof 1953 farthings and saw that one is the rare variety. The proof with the reverse a "f" of "farthing" points between two beads. This is from George VI dies.
does anyone know the value?
does anyone know the absolute rarity. 40K proofs was it more like 1 in 10 or 1 in 1000?

I see you have been reading Wybrits excellent tips - I am sure he will be along later to give
his views!
My view 1953 farthings
UNC / FDC Freeman Teg
2 + B £ 2.00 C (2 - 3million) 5,500,000
1 + A £ 3.50 N (1 - 2 million) 500,000
Proof 2 + B £ 8.00 R6 (30,000 - 50,000) 38,000
1 + B £ 16.00 N (1 - 2 million) 50,000
2 + A £ 30.00 N (1 - 2 million) 25,000
Proof 2 + A £ 75.00 R9 (7,000 - 12,000) 2,000
As you say mintage of the proofs was 40,000, (currency 6,109,200)
Freeman (and Peck) seem to me to be way off - hence my guess, then again
what do I know?
Teg
I really can't comment on the counts, since I don't own either a Peck or a Freeman.
I have seen many, many 1953 proof sets and have found only one 2A proof. This would tend to confirm that Teg's estimate might be more realistic than that of Freeman or Peck. That said, my sample size is only around 50 or so.
