1869/9 Indian Head Cent-Just How Rare Are They?

I recently saw one of these in AU. Looked like a real nice coin. Anyone know the true rarity of these? Does PCGS recognize them?

Thanks, Richard.

I don't know if I'd call them rare, if you want one and have some bux, you can get one. It's not like an 1838o half dollar or something.

They aren't cheep if you're looking for coins on a thin budget.

There are 7 different reverse dies paired with the one 69/69 die (S-3). That tells me that there are a lot of them. I see many in high grade (mainly 'cause I'm looking). In AU they're in short supply. I once tried to get the grey sheet to drop it in favor of the 1873 Dbl LIB. but the forces at Littleton held sway and it didn't happen. It's just another repunched date to me. The 1894/1894 is much more important.
