I think those who do not want to be contacted tend to not list their email. Obviously any unsolicited communication should be done respectfully.

I would think most collectors that have their email listed would be happy to hear from you.

I know that I personally leave my e-mail out there and available so that I can communicate with the other collectors and to get offers from folks. So, I can tell you that I don't have any issues with this.

  • Yep, I'm of the same thought - I list my e-mail address so people can contact me if they want to sell/ trade/ chat.

Putting the same question in two different forums is a no-no, annoying, and punishable by death.

I've emailed peope many many times and nobody has ever minded. Once in a while, I won't get a reply but usually I do. Most people are happy to buy stuff they need.

i think that best way to address it is to make the email personal. not a mass email like someone is getting a tele-email. for example..

    dear...,

noticed you have a blank set going and that you are missing cards x,y,z. I maybe able to help you with those. etc..

  • If the set registers email is listed I think it is fine. I know I list my email to help get my sets done. I agree with jradke4 I think as long as its not a mass mail its all good
