    Why would anyone bother doing a scam with a card like that? I guess he wants to start out small and work his way up to bigger scams.

    Hi, I was interested in bidding on your card, but just had a few questions first. In the title it says psa 8.....is it graded ? Second, in your description it says Gwynn, not Boggs....which is it, Gwynn or Boggs ?? And lastly....isnt $32 shipping a bit excessive ? Please get back to me ASAP, thanks.

    couldnt resist writing the seller.......here is what I wrote....lets see if I get a response....

    i couldn't resist writing him either. i said what is story with you feedback. it is so unfortunate that you ran into a bad group of buyers right out of the shoot in your e-bay career.

    then i asked if i could get the card to st. louis for less than $26.

    i have not heard back either.

    with such high feedback, surely a hijacked account...with his shipping charges, you're almost better off flying Southwest and picking it up yourself...about the same prices for some and you get FF miles...

    OK OK I couldn't resist!! I had to jump on this one. I'm in the giving mood. Some may remember the safe reference from a previous thread. Anyways, here what I wrote to this stellar seller..Hey that rhymes.

    Wow, Nice card. If I win it are you really going to send it? $32 in shipping. Bubble envelope and First class mail is 83 cents. Are you packing a refrigerator in with the card? Or is the card in a safe that hasn't been handled for years. Tell you what keep the card and send me the safe.

    I think the postal calculater is there for his other auctions. he does say free shipping in his description.

    This guy didn't sell the Boggs (or is it a Gwynn rookie?). But on the bright side, his feedback is up to 40%.
