If you mean by "worth" - fun? Anything is worth opening at pennies a pack.

Looking at the cards - the backs - the stats - the pics - both good ones and really bad ones.

If you want quality pics - find someone who has 92F Ultra for like 15 bucks a box.

The photos are really good and there are a bunch of cool inserts IMO.

Good luck - I never saw a pack I didn't want to rip!!!! image

As much as I love this hobby I can say most of what is on that list has no interest to me. I think I would rather take a punch to the face instead of opening a box of 1988 Topps baseball! image

  • I just came across um and was curious, I'm sitting on a box of 88 fleer wax and a box 91/91 UD hockey I haven't even been remotly
interested in opening..lol..I do however enjoy reading stats. I have my sets I'm putting together for my son and myself, but would'nt mind finding some cheap one to sell for a little extra cash or spending on the hobby.

Me too, I have over 10,000 carefully sorted 87 Topps along with boxes and boxes of unopened. Worthless they may be, but just a cool set !

I just want to say guys...

I was talking about "fun" - the photography in the Fleer Ultra and some Stadium Club sets are really good.

Ya have to like modern and want to relate to the current ball players thru these cards.

If ya don't follow baseball the modern will be tougher to swallow but as a Braves fan and BB fan for all my life - these boxes are full of fun for no money.

I just went out to dinner with my wife and son and spent 90 bucks - the dinner is long gone.

Two boxes of cards for like 30 bucks - ya get a lotta entertainment IMO.
