Home Metal Detecting

It finally happened, although not quite how I expected...

Got out for about an hour today down by the local school yard. Wasn't planning on finding anything other than modern clad. After pulling some change out of the ground a bunch of kids came to play and I decided to call it a day. On the way back to my truck I got a signal that I almost decided not to dig since it wasn't giving a consistent signal. I decided to dig it anyways and was pleased to find this little horse charm. It was still really clean out of the ground so I suspected I had just found my FIRST SILVER ITEM! Upon a cleaning and closer inspection, my hopes were verified by a little 92.5 inscription on the clasp. I photographed it as best I could through the loupe (not an easy task, mind you!) and this is the best I could get. Im not sure if the letters at top mean anything... I can't really make them all out but one appears to be a "J".

Well... still no silver coin but at least it made the trip not so much of a waste. After all, I was putting off homework to go out image
