Do you think this is legit or lifted?

This seller has some tremendous vintage cello and wax for sale amongst other things. He also has a 97.5% feedback. Has full scans on much of the stuff, but I guess I am a little skepitcal.

I'd say the odds are 97.5% that he actually has the card. image

I'd also say that if there is any kind of problem with the transaction, he'll probably be a total butt-head about it. He does take Paypal, but that will only partially protect you on that Rose auction.

If it were me and I was spending that kind of money on a card, I'd deal with someone more reputable.

  • On another note -- he purchased some of these items in December -- just look at his feedback and reference some of the transactions. You might be able to get a deal because some people will shy away.?

  • His feedback from customer is poor. I would stay away.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

He takes PayPal, but PayPal won't back him. Your on your own when dealing with this guy. From his feedback it does not look like he usually stiffs the buyers, but he has apparently hung four people out to dry.

Don't you just love his way of showing off the corners by cropping the main image and presenting another scan of the same exact size?

Reminds of me of this one nimrod that had a real small scan of the card. I emailed and asked him if he had a high resolution scan of the card. He blew up the same image and emailed me back a pixelated, blurry mess.
