Anybody buy from this eBay user?

He/she has some nice stuff for sale, but one of the people bidding on his auctions makes me scratch my head. "hi_lineone" just signed up on eBay on the 8th, and the new user has bids on 7 of his 20 auctions, and no other ebay auctions.

Should this raise a red flag for other bidders, or am I reading into this too much.

No immediate red flags on the seller. He may be concerned that a 0-feedback bidder is bidding on all of his merchandise, but that's his problem.

Feedback rating over 500, 99.8% positive.

The only thing that bothers me is his mandatory $10 insurance charge. Seems awfully high unless he's including registered mail in that total.

I am certain that you are right. He consistently has great stuff. Thanks for the thoughts.

Shipping cost is FREE to the US. The $10 fee is for international bidders.

    What international bidders?

No sales outside of the 50 United States...no exceptions.

He has a kilo of Afghani lapis lazuli for sale. Some ultra expensive cartridges for very high end turntables were made from this material.

  • I like that Württemberg thaler... I am guessing the scratches on the reverse must be on the slab since it is graded MS62 according to NGC. I have not bought from this seller but if he continues offering coins like this one I am sure that will change.
