A pair of dug Siliqua...

...a friend and his wife dug these two Siliqua whilst hunting with me last week.

First is one of Arcadius as Constantine, I think.

Second out is one of Constantius II. I think.

I think I may have a scattered hoard in one of my fields. Good eh?
Me? I'm perfectly balanced...got a chip on both shoulders!

Dino, I understand if for the reasons of privacy you wish to keep this to yourself, or deny it altogether, but I just know you were behind the discovery of this coin.

  • ..there is a tale to be told on that coin.
Allegedly the finder didn't have permission to hunt the river bank where it was found, and was only paid a token amount of £10,000...where normally he would have received half.
Makes it all wothwhile to get permission first. image
