I was looking 4-sharp-corners auctions on Ebay and they will not accept Paypal for Canadian orders. Any idea why only Postal Money Orders ? I thought Paypal was expanding to permit use of the USPS shipping system on Paypal orders.

Hockey set! Always looking to buy, trade or upgrade 1966 Topps to 1969 OPC.
Now with Money Orders? ... Well, payment is in hand... who cares if the buyer wants to play the "I never got it" game...
ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!
<< <i>The other thing is... you can't track any shipments to Canada (without paying an arm and a leg!) Delivery confirmation cannot be used shipping to Canada... so you'd have no proof of shipping if the recipient decided to say "He never got it!"

For less than one dollar you can get a proof of shipment receipt from the post office. I have done that several times when shipping to Canada. I had never heard about it until the guy at the post office counter clued me in.

please explain..
I never knew about that.. Next time I ship something I'll try and get this proof of shipment thing.
They give you a slip, I am almost certain it is called proof of shipment, either way, ask and they will know what you are talking about. This is around 85 cents I think, and it is marked right there as you hand over the package to the PO clerk. It is valid proof of shipment to Canada...I am certain of this, I had to provide that to paypal once and it was accepted as proof.

<< <i>No you dont need proof of delivery for paypal. As a seller you only need to prove that you shipped the item to the buyers address. Go into the post office and ask the clerk. I went through the same search on USPS site myself, and came up with nothing. If not for the guy at the post office telling me I still wouldnt know.

Paypal requires proof of DELIVERY that can be tracked online. The proof of shipment you get will not protect you in a Paypal dispute.
Paypal says: "What are some best practices for avoiding chargeback losses?
Follow the Seller Protection Policy guidelines by shipping to the buyer's [confirmed] address listed on the Transaction Details page and by retaining proof of delivery that can be tracked online."
