Maybe because Ike looks like "Bull" from the old TV show Night Court?

Never heard that one before. Ike does look like Bull from "Night Court" so this theory is as good as any.

at first it was funny and now i'm thinking this could be possible.

It was the first explaination thought of. The I saw that Cladinator had posted the same thought so I didn't bother.
  • It would be a really sad commentary on the state of the general knowledge of Americans if more of them could identify Bull Shannon (Richard Moll) from Night Court than Dwight D. "Ike" Eisenhower. However, it's probably true.
  • I always thought Ike looked like Donald Duck from the side.

Hmmm.... "Bull Ike" kind of sounds familiar. Didn't her TV show get cancelled?
