  • Nice pickup, Meathook! My snipe came in too low on that one image

But I did win these off of our very own Bob C. image How far are you in the set? Is it registered?

Sweet card. I have a bunch of 72's at PSA right now. I love the design.

Phreaky- that Harper looks to be pushing the centering allowed for a 9. I am still somewhat new to these but is that common for a 9? It is always tough to judge centering with writing down the side of the card, like the 84 topps bb.

  • Thanks for the kind words, fellas. No registry as of yet. Just trying to collect old North Stars in 9 or higher.

Danny Grant was a decent player, I guess. No Gretzky, of course!

It's not as well centered as I would prefer, but I think PSA uses the "eye appeal" judgement call a lot with this set, because the writing down the side is quite forgiving for off-center cards. A card with solid line borders on all four sides with this centering would look horrible.
  • Actually, now that I blow up the scan and count pixels, the L-R centering is about 60/40, well within spec for a 9.
