I got an email tonight through EBAY Message ( Question from EbayMember)

TEXT as Follows:

Your registered name is included to show this message originated from eBay. Learn more.

Question from eBay Member -- Respond Now

I have not sold this EBAYer anything......I have nothing up for sale.........carlbambury is not a registered ebay member....all the links in the email appear to be proper except one which is the link to respond to the message................

....needless to say i will not be responding to the message, cause if I do I will have to sign in with my password.....

If it was through eBay Messages, then no need to even bother with email. Just to go your "My eBay" page, click on "My Messages" and you can read and respond to it there. If it isn't in your "My Messages", then it isn't legit.

you don't even need to check your ebay messages... all you need to do is look at the hyperlink in the email, and you can easily tell it's not an ebay domain.
