    The D.C. council authorized up to $535 million in bonds, but now they are saying the costs could be higher. I would think a potential buyer of the team might pick up the rest. It may result in a lower sales price for the team, but where else are they going to go?

    Perhaps Maryland should annex DC so some state money can be doled out as well.
