Just a piece of advice to all Joe DiMaggio auto collectors. After reading books on the man, I can tell you the following about his autograph:

99% of the time, Joe DiMaggio would dot the second "i" in his last name below his last name rather than directly above the "i". He specifically did this to reduce forgeries. These pictures below explain it. Sometimes the dot would be below the "i", sometimes it would be towards the end of his name.

This was a fake as I have never seen a Joe D. card dotted above and below his name.....not to mention the weak attempt at making out the last name!!
