Toning Experiment - "Charmin 5000"

I as some of you know collect Irish coinage. I have some US stuff as well, types, etc......... Well, a few months ago I discovered an old U.S. Monroe commem. that I had wrapped it toilet paper and threw in a box when I was moving into my new place two years ago. It was an AU grading coin. When I unwrapped the toilet paper I found it to be magnificantly toned. Rainbow rim toning, very symmetrical and many nice reds, purples, browns, blues , and greens.
Back to Irish coins. I have many modern Irish commemoratives and silver issues. So I get to thinking and I have begun a toning experiment I call the Charmin 5000.
I have carefully layed several pieces across toilet paper and covered them with more T-P. I also layed the whole deal across my satellite box as it generates low heat and I figure this will speed up the rate of toning? I'll post a report every other month or so. I think this is going to be interesting

Alas-- I don't know what happened to my piece of magic cardboard.

Pic's: will be forthcoming
AT or NT: Well, that's debatable I guess? Is any toning really NT? I have always felt AT was an incorrect term that should be replaced with "IT," as in intentional toning. In this case it would be IT all the way. I'm not trying to make a buck off of this by selling them later, only trying to induce a bit of coin character and to spice up an otherwise boring set of coins.
I've tried the manila envelope thing too with some silver eagles. Thus far........no results over a year later. From what I've read newspaper and toilet paper have the best chemical mixtures to promote toning or to re-tone dipped coins.
Magic cardboard: I could use some of that.
T-P stock: hell, if I show great results the masses of toner groupies may just run out and empty the shelves. T-P may even become a traded commodity after me.
