Here is one for you all to try and figure out.

I just bought this, WHY? because it's cool!

So you blow it up and mirror it and you get this. Now who can ID it? If anyone posts a coin or medal that was struck from this I'll flip them a weenie coin proof set.

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Looks like a die for a medal/token of the GAR for some sort of anniversary of Abe Lincoln.

Will you be sending sample strikes out after you receive it?

    Neat image

Only done a quick googling so far, but Lot 1181 here may be your medal. Of course, though, it doesn't show the right side!

The cache of this page shows it shoved into an odd lot (2709), no picture, but a full reading of the legends:US bronze National Encampment medallion, 45mm bronze, obverse: profile of Abraham Lincoln, on the outside perimeter, “With Malice Toward None with Charity For All 1809-1909”, reverse: wreath, American eagle, “The 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Abraham Lincoln, The 43rd National Encampment of The Grand Army of the Republic AVC 9.14. 1909”

Same here, that is all I could find. Still no idea where it was minted and where to find one!
