I've had good experiences....having said that, though, they sell 2 types of coins:

    - OK/Nice/Very Nice coins in PCGS and NGC holders

    - Questionable coins in third world holders

So it depends on what you're interested in buying image

That company is a large, active dealership. They should be fine to deal with.

I have bought several items from them, there shiiping is a bit expensive but they tell you that upfront.

You won't have any problems with them.

I have noticed that, and part of the reason for asking other's opinions. The PCGS and NGC coins look good. However, I did notice the other companies also, and some homemade type slabs. They also cut off the company & cert info on the back of these third world slabs. Suspious to me.

I've bought several toned coins. Photos accurately represent the toning and look of the coin. Very happy with the transactions and the coins.

  • I have bought certified coins from them on ebay and recently bought coins from their store in Winter Springs, Fl. I have found them to be good to deal with on both occasions.

I've dealt with them via eBay. 2 good experiences. Once I wanted something overnighted & they did so at no extra charge for me.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

I've purchased a number of coins from them to include a cherrypick of the finest known 1890-O VAM 10 "Comet" in PCGS MS65. Customer service has always been great and shipping was always quick.

    Geoman,

I purchased a VERY pricey coin from them last year and the deal was handled well. I'd give them a image

    I like dealing with them.

If you're patient, they usually list a coin at a fixed price a couple of times, then throw it up with no reserve.

I would never buy from them. They were one of the big dealers in the Accugrade network and sell a lot of third-tier slabs. That's enough to scare me away.

I've dealt with them...no problems whatsoever. But, I only buy PCGS/NGC coins.

I think there are better ways to get good values via ebay. Many ebay power sellers sell the typical retreaded slabbed stuff. Nothing to write home about and available on the market.

The 3rd tier selling doesn't help. I usually don't bother with dealers who keep an active inventory of that stuff. That just means they are smarter than me (lol)

I usually buy only PCGS coins, with a few NGC's or non problem ANACS holdered coins.

I have bought three coins from them, and have been very happy with their service.

My latest purchase from them, a 1892 Quarter Type 1 (harder to locate than most realize ! ) in PCGS 63

I have bought PCGS coins from them through e-bay, and web site- Very professional service, Even When I returned on of the coins.

They do tend to sell alot of coins in lower tier slabs.

Have had no problems with my purchases except, I suggest you stick to the big 3 TPGs. To be fair, I must state that I have had no problems crossing ICG Morgans in MS64 to PCGS. I have never tried crossing a higher graded coin.

Your logic escapes me Barry. Just don't buy the ones you dislike!

I have never had any problems with them- just good coins and quick easy returns on the stuff I dont like.

My logic is I don't like buying from a dealer whose M.O. is to routinely rip off newbies by selling thrid-tier slabs. It's just someone I wouldn't trust. It just goes to overall moral fiber. Hypothetically, if I knew a particular coin dealer was also a drug dealer, I wouldn't buy PCGS coins from him, either.

I also am very hesitant to buy from a dealer who peddles those new grading company slabs. They have a lot of gold on ebay slabbed by companies I've never heard of. One Liberty double eagle graded 66. Part of me says that supporting them by purchasing from them is not right. I am not trying to be their moral judge, but I also wonder how many folks bought these coins expecting the same quality of coin in as they would find in one of the big 3.

We whine on here about the sale of overgraded coins in third world slabs then keep these sellers in business by buying from them. It's at least something to consider.
  • I do see what you mean.

I swore off of Dave (Daves Coin World Collection) when he offered an Accugrade coin. But I realized that's

a moral issue, and I could be missing out due to my initial knee-jerk reaction.

BTW- couple weeks ago I got a coin in a PCGS slab from TNFC for around $200. It is easily worth 5 -10 times what I paid!
