She's my helper. She always has to be in the center of whatever's goin' on. It's a nuisance, sometimes.

I was telling my wife today that laptop computers must send out some sort of ultrasonic signal that's irresistible to cats.

PS- thanks, Hyperion. I hope to get out again Wednesday. That is also the day I will be getting satellite DSL at home, so maybe I can post the first Digger's Diary entry for February from there. (Lately I have been only able to do Internet from work, but this is my last night on this job. I get a week's vacation and then start a new job on the 13th. Not sure if there will be any web access from there.)
