Is it me or does anybody really care about tommorows game? Other than Pittsburgh and Seattle fans this Super Bowl just does not seem to have the billing as a SUPER BOWL?

If anyoneis interested post your thoughts or scores here....

I don't believe the TV ratings will be huge, but I don't really care about that. I think it will be a very good football game.

I think the ratings will be middle of the pack from historic bowls, but by no means low. Pittsburgh's fan base draws from many markets in the Northeast, Midatlantic and Central. Seattle is the weak sister, but West coast fans will trend towards rooting them in.

    Prediction - Steelers 31, Seahawks 20.

I am a Steelers fan, but it seems like there are a lot of Steelers fans out there - who became fans of the franchise back in the glory years of the 70's. I'd bet the ratings are quite good due to this...

    I'm one of 'emimage

I grew up in San Diego as a Charger fan, and I became a fan of the Steelers also, due to the fact that they usually, if not always beat the Raidersimageimage

The great thing about the Super Bowl is not only the current rivalry, but the coverage that includes great stuff about the previous Bowls. Pretty soon, it will not have that same appeal and will become like baseball. What I mean by this is that at the age of 50, I have seen every Superbowl...but not every World Series. Regards.

I won't predict the score but I'm kinda surprised so many are picking the Hawks. Being a Steeler fan, I don't mind it because the Steelers play better when they aren't the odds on favorites (despite the betting line which is more a function of how the bets are being placed). The Seahawks played a very weak schedule to get to the playoffs. Then they beat the Skins which have a weak offense and the Panthers who had no running game with their third string back starting. They may be the best team in the league but they haven't earned that honor yet. At this point, I think the Steelers are the best team having beaten the Colts, Bengals and Broncos on the road. The Colts and Broncos were the best teams in the NFL at the time the Steelers beat them. I'm hoping for a good game and, obviously, a Steeler win. I'm a bit apprehensive though due to past playoff meltdowns under Cowher.

Jeez kuhlmann, you should win some kind of award for that. Great prediction, you were dead on. You should go into the bookie business.
  • Kuhlmann - well done! Nailed the score exactly!!

  • I didn't give a rip about the teams in the game but, I really thought it was going to be a good game...boy was I wrong.

Is it accurate to say that the team that sucked the least won?!?
