Thanks to Carl, the Duke of Mint, for selling the Carl Erskine to me privately and allowing me to complete this vintage set. For the last year, this has been the only psa 8 I have needed in this set--Brian and I only saw one come up on ebay during this time and it sold for close to $1,000. Carl with special encouragement from Brian kept it off ebay and allowed me to finish my set. Thanks a million Carl and Brian thanks to you too.
The Erskine should not have been so difficult as it is a pop 31 but it must be because of the Dodger collectors out there. The Snider was also difficult for me(pop 28) suggesting this theory is likely true.
This puts me in a four-way tie for 7th on the Registry with this set and I expect to let it rest awhile.
This brings me to 38 completed sets in psa 8 or better. I hope to have a couple others to announce very soon. My goal of 50 vintage or semi-vintage sets complete in psa 8 or better by year-end is looking achievable. The ultimate goal is over 100.

I know a lot of people in the hobby--graders, dealers, collectors.
Most are great people. I live in NJ and periodically throw a party and open up my collection for viewing.
Brian is Brian Dwyer(obc spacktrack on ebay) who is a sophmore at Seton Hall. Brian handles most of my buying(all of ebay buying) and sells stuff for me regularly on ebay. He loves the hobby and loves to be in the middle of the action. I give him money from time to time but Brian would be the first to tell you he does this because he loves it. I could not do what I am trying to do without him.

Congratulations on another set. That's one I've been thinking about for my next vintage baseball set.
Tom
Great job again. You seem to be knocking them down one by one. Thats a good one out of the way as they can become expensive. Good luck with the rest.
Dave
I've hit a good stretch in terms of finishing sets.
More to come shortly.

I don't have scanning capability but if you live near NJ you are welcome to look at them anytime.
Phil,
Thank you--your cards look great in my set. I love the 60 set and hope to have an announcement there soon.
