I do not remember, off hand, but I believe if you contact the mint, they can tell you. I would estimate 100-125 on the $5, 200-250 on the $10 and $350-400 on the $25.

This is for anyone else who finds this ancient thread. I believe Julian's prices (04 Feb 2006) are a bit high, because the three coins he listed minimum total is $650, leaving only $350-400 for the 1 oz coin, about the same price as the 1/2 oz. I purchased the 4-coin gold eagle proof set for $999 in 1994; it was a discount price vs. the four single coin prices, but not a giant discount. The average closing price for gold in 1994 was $384; the coins' purchase prices were not tied directly to the daily price of gold by the mint, the way today's prices are.

Anyone have access to original issue price on US Mint Gold Eagle Proofs from 1994?? 1/10 1/4 1/2 ounce????
Thanks,
Bill
I don't recall the individual prices, but the four coin sets were priced at $995.00. Even then with a little search, one could locate them for about $750.00 on the after market. Alas, the good 'ol days!
I would try find mint ask prices, making a seperate ss page for that - historical reference data. Good luck on that.
However for investment portfolio / business purposes, I would simply do an inventory reval to current CDN bid (each item). For MV /Sell would just input CDN CPG in the of the item column of the ss. Each would go on back of holder in code. Goal - get somewhere between bid and CPG.
