This coin is a lovely 1834 Capped Bust 50C just recently graded by PCGS as an MS62. It could have easily gone MS63 in my view. The coin has deep blue obverse rim toning with a white central focus area which makes for a great "look." The reverse has a thin blue and gold band at the rim with a white central focus area. The strike is excellent as is the luster. While 1834's tend to be flat in strike, this coin shows exceptional hair detail. This coin is easily one of the nicest Bust Halves I have seen. Before listing this on eBay, I thought I would give the PCGS Coin Forum first shot at this beauty. I would ask that anyone interested in this coin email me at jamesfsm@yahoo.com and we will take it from there in terms of discussing price and me emailing pics of the coin. Please do not send me a "PM" as I rarely look at them. Thank you for your interest and have a nice weekend!

I thought the same thing. E-mailed James and he sent some good pics. Nice looking toned Bust half.
