Sending stuff to PSA via FedEx

Just wondering if anyone has shipped using this method to PSA. Looks like you ship to a different address (not the Newport one) and you need to make it a 'hold for pickup'

How did this work out for you guys who have done it? Do they take a week to actually go pick up the package or was it worth while (made turnaround much faster).

We have sent all of our submissions via Fedex - PSA does pick them up the next day. Through the Collector's Club we usually use the five day grading time - it doesn't speed up that process. But we do have them ship the cards back Fedex also. That way we don't looke at the grades when they are posted- its more fun to wait until the package arrives the next day after grading and find out the grades looking at the grade on the actual card instead of a computer screen. Also my experience with Fedex is that they are reliable - use it in my business all the time so I have confidence in them.

    Thanks Bob,

Went to FedEx after reading your reply.

It's such a pain the as§ sending stuff via FedEx from Canada to the US.. I forgot about all the questions and bs... In the past when I've told them truthfully what was inside the box they told me that they can't ship collectible items over to the US. So this time I just put 'Photo cards' as the item description.. She asks me 'What are photo cards?' I tell her photo's but on thicker card stock. She asks 'Are they pornographic?' I tell her no and then she asks me to write 'Non Pornographic' in the item description as well. They always make me feel like I'm shipping crack or something. When I ship by Canada Post XpressPost I just write 'hockey cards' value $1,000 or whatever and insure it for that with no grief but with them no way. Anyway no one is faster and I'm sure they'll get there safe and sound and I'll be getting them back by FedEx as well. It just sucks how momo'ish they are about sports cards.

Sorry to hear its such a hassle shipping Fedex from Canada. We just ship like we do other packages every day and drop in the box down the street.

Hope the speed justifies the hassle.
