It doesn't sound like EJ plans on returning to Indy next year. It will be interesting to see if they can replace him, and if not, how good Peyton is when defenses don't have to worry about the run. Peyton's worst year rating wise other than his rookie year came in 2001 when James tore his ACL.

Indy can plug in Rhodes and be fine, I think Edge going to Minny is ridiculas, I meen how many freakin backs do they want over their? Their whole system has been revolved around starting a different guy every other week, Edge is a feature back and it would be a wast to put him in some 3 back rotation system.

They dont have an every down back, period.

That, is what we need. Keep MB and maybe MeMo, who knows about SOD.

Edge is only 28 Ax, but I know what you mean. Plus, he's "dream" job of playing for Miami looked good a year ago. But then Rickey Williams came back and Ronnie Brown proved he's the real deal so that's out the door.

What I don't want to hear is him talk about being underappreciated, etc. Everyone in the Colts organization has said for some time that he is the cog that keeps that offense moving. How's a guy who makes 8+ million on that offense not be content?

To his credit, he sure plays the game and you don't hear him complaining during the season, a la most other players.

He made 8 million dollars last year....after dedicating the last 12 years of my life to education and with working hard and taking great risk over the next 30-40 years....some day i hope to RETIRE with 1 million in the bank.......THATS IF IM STILL ALIVE.

I say that Miami should trade R.Williams to Houston for David Carr and then get Edge for a better 1-2 punch.
