Which would you choose to invest in...

Unopened pre-1985 wax from baseball, football, basketball

OR

Tough authenticated autographs from popular sports heroes no longer with us, like Walter Payton, Elston Howard, Thurman Munson, etc.?

Yes, I know real estate is better...doing some of that as well...

Any opinions would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Doug

  • HOF Autographs with photos and PSA cert will always do well IMHO.

re: pre 1985 Unopened - I cant see much from the early 80's doing much appreciation. 70s in another story.

    Thanks, Steve.

Is there really so much 1980-84 unopened wax out there that it wouldn't appreciate in 8-12 years?

  • I think there is at least a moderate amount of product around- but the key driver is demand of the individual cards.....There is not much demand for many cards in the early 80s - -with notable exception - 80 Henderson, 82 Ripken - etc

Real Estate actually, but if I had to choose between the 2, you can't go wrong with the old school autographs. Pimp on....
Nothing smoother than listening to Bob James and sipping on a glass of vintage Courvoisier! It's PIMPnificent!
