Vintage Guys, Need Some Help with 34-36 Diamond Stars and E120 American Caramels

Question (1):
What's the deal with the 1934-1936 Diamond Stars? The set registry lists this as one set (spanning 3 years), but yet individual cards have a specific year on them, such as this one:

According to the PSA set description, the year can be deduced by information from the back of the card. If this is the case, why aren't there 3 separate sets?
Question (2):
Anyone know the size of the E120 American Caramel cards? More specifically, is this a standard size PSA holder, or is it a "tall-boy":

Thanks!
Tom

The t-206 is a perfect example multiple years within a set.
Actually when you consider that the T-206 has different years as well as diffrent backs it should really be like ten different sets.
there are quite a few sets like that...its incredible hard to fix/change them and not many people would be interested.
Diamond stars its a wonderful colorful set ...even in this hot pre war market i cant think of a set that has more potential for a big jump in prices.
