2006 Topps Heritage pushes up release date

Topps has finally posted on it's website the checklist and release date of the 2006 Topps Heritage baseball set.

Previously, it was reported that the set would be released the week of Feb. 27.

On the website today, Topps announced the release date as Feb. 20, a week earlier. LESS THAN THREE WEEKS!

Another revelation could be found on the checklist. Cards Nos. 400 and 406, which in the 1957 set, were multi-player cards, will be World Series heroes. Of course they will be short printed.

Seems like this will be one red hot set this year........if anyone ends up with a basic set they want to sell please let me know. I have no interest in any inserts, sp's, or anything like that, just want a basic set to throw in sheet & a binder to look at every now and then.

bri2327, don't even try it. That's what I thought last year and I ended up pooterhole deep in Heritage wrappers. You'll get hooked, man.

ArchStanton.....I hear ya.......but that is why I asked about getting a set from someone, and NOT making it myself....so far I have managed to get a base set every year off the bay and havnt yet purchased a box....i know what that will lead to, and I do NOT want to go there @!
