Omaha Bank Hoard and coin populations

I noticed some 1937 MS67 RD Lincolns tonight on Heritage from that hoard. It got me thinking about my collection of Washington's and the populations of some of the semi-keys like the 39S and 42S. I've seen quite a few Washingtons with that pedigree on the label, although no 39S's or 42S's. Plenty of 42D's. There were something like 2000+ rolls of all denominations from the 30's and 40's. How many investors/collectors are worried about populations going up and prices going down?
Will these coins be more affordable to me in the future? In my case I hope so. Just last night, a 42S graded PCGS MS65 sold on Teletrade for $100. It wasn't that long ago that an MS65 was selling in the $150 range. This one was in an old 3rd or 4th generation holder. Older holders generally command a premium.

I have yet to see where it affects the pricing of those coins. I've been looking to upgrade
my 41-S jefferson nickel. When I was looking at MS66 FS coins, the pop was 19/1, now it
is 28/4. That date sells for more now then it did a year ago. It's amazing how many full step
nickels and full bell line Franklins were in that hoard.
