  • Congrats on that 11-d! I'm thinking about sending 7 coins in for regrade under express, my 12-d,17-s,19-s,25-d,28-s,49-p and 54-p.

My friend, in this current PCGS grading "environment", you have some set of b@lls to crack these out and submit them raw for grading, especially the MS 67 Red Lincolns.

I was trying for MS68 on those two lincolns, they are so solid for MS67 that you could crack them a million times and always get 67. I really thought they are 68's.

Yes Lucy they were all PCGS.

    clackamass:

sorry the 44-D and 45-D missed a 68 grade... how many 68 red examples exist?

None,at least on the 44-D I think. Correct me if I'm wrong as I may be thinking of another 40's date that Wayne Herndon offered $6k for the first PCGS certified 68 Red example...

  • Got some grades on crack outs but hardly seems to be worth the effort and cost.

  • A well known Lincoln dealer and expert cracked out an ms68 late date wheat that was so perfect he wanted an ms69 on it... and it came back ms66!

If you really think the coins are all there for MS-68, try a Presidental Review.
