1993-94 HOCKEY

This is a question for hockey collectors or anyone who might know.........I wanted to start a 93-94 NY Rangers team set but have no idea which set to make it from.......is there anywhere to look at examples of each issue from that year ? Which set would produce the most product as far as Ranger players ? Any help would be great, thanks !

Your best bet is to type in "1993-94 PSA" in an Ebay search and see what pops up.

Already tried that and got no hits in auctions or stores !

I know it will most likely have to be submitted myself from raw cards whichever brand it ends up being, there seems to be nothing from that year graded.

I like the 94-95 Stadium Club (I am a Rangers Fan). I know you wanted 93-94 but the SC have the Rangers players with the Stanley Cup.

It blooks like the most PSA graded cards is Upper Deck with 141 graded.

My focus, 1970 Topps Baseball Raw and Graded, pre 1989 PSA Hockey and 1933 INDIAN GUM ! Yikes!!

I'll second Nascar360 on that. The Stadium Club cards from the following year are nice. Plus, for any Rangers team set, you need a Stephen Matteau in Rangers Blue!!
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    Bri,

    You're choices are:

    Donruss
    Leaf
    Parkhurst
    Pinnacle
    PowerPlay
    Score
    Stadium Club
    Topps/OPC Premiere
    Ultra
    Upper Deck

I'd go with one of these three:

Pinnacle - nice design, tough black borders
PowerPlay - unique tall boy size
    Upper Deck - great photography

Thanks everyone for the info........those power play tall boys look great, but a set from the following year sounds good too, guess I will have to tackle both for twice the fun !

Wow thats a great card. Haven't seen that in years.

OT but.....Wouldn't that be a great set for the registry....cup cards!

Everycard in the set would have the Stanley Cup in it.

Does anyone have extras of the 94-95 pinnacle or the power play tall boys they would like to get rid of ?
